BEIJING -Michael Phelps really is wondering about the media these days. According to the Media he is on a quest to win 8 medals in these Olympics at Beijing China. Well you will have to check on the Medal Count to see but the truth is the MEDIA is kind of crazy in their quest for his gold.
You might have heard how he wants to break Mark Spitz's record for the most medals in a single Games, that he won't be satisfied with anything else.You've just never heard it from him."I haven't said anything about breaking any record, or going after any record," Phelps said. "You guys [in the media] are the ones saying that. I have my goals, and they haven't been published. [My coach] and I are the only two people that know about them, and we're going to try and work to achieve them."
Anyway, when you are watching the Olympics, remember that it is ok that you make it sensational. Because that is what this all is. Good or bad, Michael Phelps or the Chinese politicians, this is a world event. ENJOY!
